Chawton Park Surgery

We have recently formed a Patient Group for the benefit of patients at Chawton Park Surgery. The group is made up of patient volunteers who have formed a small committee and who seek to promote co-operation between patients and the Practice through effective communication.

The Patient Group is affiliated to NAPP (National Association of Patient Participation).

The aims and objectives of the Group are...

to provide a means of communication between the patients, doctors and staff of Chawton Park Surgery.
to provide a method for patients to make positive suggestions about the Practice.
to encourage health education activities within the Practice and the local community.
to develop self help projects to meet the needs of patients.
to represent patients of the Practice in seeking to influence local provision of health and social care.

Can you help?

We are looking for people with ideas and energy to help the Committee to plan and organise future activities. Fresh ideas and initiatives are always welcome. We are particularly keen to hear from younger patients, for example mothers with young children. If you can spare a little time but don't wish to join a Committee, your suggestions will be very welcome.
